Job Description

Business developement at AliveShoes means to attract customers and companies to use the platform, either by offering custom shoes specifically designed for them, or by informing them about the features that the platform offers.
On the B2B side we work with corporates, start-ups, fashion companies, fashion designers, event organizers, clubs, non-profits, universities, organizations (and more..) in search for great custom merchanidise.
On the B2C we work with fashion minded consumers, emerging or want-to-be fashion designers, influencers.
Most of the work is done online, with some offline presentations and meeting with big clients.
The main goal of the role is to create a solid team to streamline business developement with all different clusters, in
different geographies.
You will be leading and creating the business developement & sales team internationally.
You will be recruting business developement associates in different markets and verticals.
You will be managing the sales team, creating the main sales process, setting targets and goals, monitoring performances.
You will manage key accounts and big and important clients.
You will also be in charge of finding new markets, localize the platform and create local teams in customer service and sales.
You will be setting up new partnerships to extend the reach of the platform and get to new customers.


You are great at sales and at establishing human connection within any media. You can create relationship with people, empower them and excite them.
You are data driven, you like to measure results and optimize processes, you have a business oriented mindset.

You are enthusiastic about customization, fashion and merchandising.

You have fluent english spoken and written, knowing Italian, French and Spanish is a plus.

You have worked at least 6 years in a relevant position in e-commerce, sales, business developement.

You are familiar with tech, you understand the dynamics and the flows of a digital product, you can use team communication tools, online chat tools, newsletter tools, CRM tools, Dashboards, and analytics tools.

You are not a classic 9-5 office person. You want to travel, grow, reach challenging goals, meet new people, work internationally, work on the go and fully embrace a cause with an all-in approach.

You love difficult challenges and you are stimulated to work with startups and talented people.

You are ambitious and energetic. You are a doer, you like to wear many hats when needed


We normally get to speak with 30% of the applicants. If we find a fit we will get back to you in less than a week.

The first part of the process involve an initial skype call, a test you can do from remote and a small talk again once you have done with the test.

The second part of the process will be a 2 day full working day with us. We will fly you from wherever you are located and reimburse reasonable expenses.
At the end of the 2 days we will tell you if you are hired.

The hiring period is divided in two phases, a 3 month trial period, and a 1 year to 3 years contract after the trial.

For this position you will get about gross 4.000$/month for the 3 month trial, and about gross 6.000$/month for the contract (this may vary based on the experience)

All travel expenses are paid by the company (life + travel, including accommodation, if it's not a remote role).
You will get sales-based bonuses (this will be defined together)
You will get shares in the company with 3 years vesting period after the trial.
